FROM THE EDITOR

The month of April brings joy all around the country, when New Year is observed according to traditional calendar as Baisaki, Ugadi, Gudi Padava, Tamil New Year's Day, Bahag Bihu and Vishu. We wish all our Readers and their families good health, wealth and happiness.

We are making steady progress in spite of financial difficulties to the publisher Association. We are heartened and enthused by the responses being received from the Readers. We are grateful for their support and encouragement. As a Professional Journal, this has limited circulation. Therefore, we once again appeal to the Chief Vigilance Officers and Vigilance Professionals to support this journal by taking out multiple subscriptions for the Units under their control. We would also request your patronage with advertisements.

We are happy to note that there is a good response for Articles etc. for publication in the Journal. Instead of articles of general nature, we would like to receive, good case studies for publication. To avoid typographical errors, we would request the contributors to send their Case studies in a Floppy in ‘MS- Word’ along with a hard copy, Passport size photo and a brief bio-data in ten lines. Floppies will be returned.

For your convenience, we have placed Vol.I (the first four issues of this journal - October 2000 to September 2001) on our website www.aapssindia.com for free download. Please make use of this facility to read old issues.

We have received a suggestion from a Reader that we should switch over to e-publishing. We welcome your comments and suggestions on this.

Dr.S.Subramanian
